Sarah will be one of the guest speakers at PaintStock 2020. She is an amazing lady and a fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things paint and social media.
She is definitely someone you're going to want to see in July, Sarah will giving business focused social media talks on both days and we are very grateful she is able to come and share her wisdom.
Hi I'm Sarah,
I'm a mother to 3 and a grandmother to 1 and count them as my greatest accomplishment.
I'm a business owner, entrepreneur, paint enthusiast and Blogger. I've been learning my trade in paint splattered clothes for over 12 years. I've been hungry for knowledge in my chosen industry and love to learn everything I can …….
Ok ok so I'm slightly obsessed, but in a good way!
Teaching has been the biggest surprise for me in all this, I never thought it would be something I would enjoy but it’s the best part of my job!! I love it. I also teach Facebook strategies to over 300 women in the creative industry. I love encouraging other women to follow their passion and calling, and it’s been a calling to bring women together.
I’ve been a speaker at three different Conferences, teaching simple Social Media Strategies to grow your online audience. I am also running the First UK’s Furniture Painting Conference this year with kate Holt and look forward to that adventure.
I truly love my job and realise not many people get to do what they love for a living , I wake up every day and count my blessings and know I'm one of the lucky ones.
Let us also introduce Sam Clark of Sam Clark Coaching.
So you can paint furniture, but do you know how to run a business??
The amazing Sam Clark will be hitting the stage on both Saturday and Sunday to help you grow your business..
Do not miss your chance to let this lady inspire you.
"Sam Clark always knew marketing was the career for her after taking part in a focus group when she was 15. She was intrigued that a business of that size, wanted to understand its customer, and develop products to suit their needs; rather than create a product and hope somebody would buy it.
Her first foray into the business world came in the shape of her Saturday job at an independent town centre newsagents. The owner taught her about the importance of customer appeal, how a well merchandised shop would attract your audience, and encourage sales.
Sam obtained her qualifications in business and marketing and entered the corporate world. She worked for over 20 years with European DIY Giants in the home interiors sector. She was responsible for developing paint and wallcoverings brands, implementing marketing strategies and managing circa £80 million of sales.
After leaving the corporate world Sam launched her own furniture and kitchen painting business. She used her sales and marketing experience to tap into the minds and hearts of her clients. She knew it was crucial to understand what they needed, and provide products and services to help them achieve their dreams. This approach gained her a portfolio of loyal customers across the UK.
Whilst running her business Sam became involved in large online painting communities. She could see talented women within the industry who were struggling to make a profit. She wanted to help them value themselves and recognise the value of their work. During this time she became the go to person for pricing advice.
In the Summer of 2019 she launched her coaching business to help as many female furniture painters get, seen, get heard and get sales!
She also created a private Facebook group where she shares tips and advice on running a profitable business. A safe environment for female furniture painters to meet, chat and share all things painty or otherwise.
